The Board

Jimi Wollumbin - Director

Having completed a broad range of studies in traditional medicine from both Europe and Asia I then spent three years in developing countries exploring their cultural roots. With a background in philosophy I was fascinated by the tremendous similarities between these paradigms and their enormous scope for integration with the best of Western Medicine. Having completed internships and research in India, China and Europe I returned to Australia determined to find a model that incorporated my emerging social conscience with a profound respect for the fullness of medical wisdom and tradition that is available to us today. One Health Organisation is an attempt to realise this dream through the principles of Holistic Primary Health Care, and a way for me personally to be part of the positive changes that are taking place across the globe in this time.

Bronwyn Lin - Director

Having begun my career as a Social Scientist/Strategist for international consultancy Environmental Resources Management working in Australia, Turkey and UK. I then worked voluntarily as a refugee caseworker with Amnesty International Australia before joining a humanitarian aid agency, AUSTCARE as a Program Officer. Initially working in Cambodia, I then took on a head office role managing development projects in the Middle East, South and Central Asia. I am passionate about dance and movement therapy and coordinate the community, kids and charity components of the Earthdance Global Community Festival for Peace held in Sydney each year. I am currently also working as the One Health Organisation Community Health Projects Manager and believe in the mission of the One Health Organisation because of its capacity to raise awareness of holistic health care in mainstream society; its vision to look at both the local community context and the global health situation; and its ability to engage and empower individuals to support, nurture and create a sense of community for those more vulnerable.
